About Us

Following Your Heart

Joy, excitement, concerns, and dreams. Ideas, traditions, emphatic yeses and absolute nos. Compromise, fear, certainty, doubt, tenderness, and strength.

Together you will encounter the many choices, limitations, and emotions that accompany planning your big day, and you’ll quickly learn what matters most.

Just like…

the couple who lost the groom’s father two weeks before the wedding who chose to honor him by continuing with their plans and celebrating with those who loved him most

the bride who wanted every guest to experience an enchanted feeling and created magical vignettes for guests to enjoy throughout the reception

the couple who brought thirty of their closest friends and family from out of town to a bed and breakfast for a week’s worth of activities before an emotion packed wedding day

the couple who had guests attach words of encouragement to miniature fir tree centerpieces to be delivered to a rehab center

the bride arriving on her Harley and her groom on horseback

a vow spoken to each of the seven children blending to create a new family

the groom’s ninety-year old grandfather standing as his best man

something old handed down for generations carried in the bride’s bouquet

the groom surprising his bride by quitting smoking so they will have a longer life together

the bride happily pushing her father’s wheelchair down the aisle while he clutched her bouquet

being escorted by both the moms who raised her

homemade peach chutney shipped from Georgia by their aunts for every guest

family style Romanian dinner

a special dance with his birth mother found days before the wedding

...where following their hearts mattered most.

“When the groom’s father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, a decision was made to move up the wedding date.  We found ourselves planning a wedding in less than two months in another state. From day one we always felt that you were doing your best for us, that your loyalty was with us. You are calm, gracious under pressure, knowledgeable, and completely understanding…you were open to doing as much or as little as wanted.  Simply said, you made my daughter’s beautiful wedding, under very difficult circumstances, a reality.”

Meet The Team

Patti is known for her love of animals (kittens in particular), giving hugs to random strangers, tripping and falling over absolutely nothing, and roasting a prime rib to perfection.

"I love to read, write, dabble in paint, and am constantly redecorating in my mind.

"What matters most to me is my relationship with God, my three grown children, my family, and my friends, who I lovingly refer to as my 'chosen family.'”

Hannah, Patti’s daughter, grew up both behind the scenes and at the forefront of weddings and events.  Her eye for detail, ability to anticipate what’s needed, witty sarcasm, and ready compassion are a perfect fit for her role as Coordinator at Rosemarie Weddings & Events.

"When I'm not helping others with their Big Day plans, I propagate my own succulents, comb through thrift stores for vintage artwork and decor, rescues strays, and enjoy hiking and outdoor activities."

Patti’s love of weddings and events started when she was a florist in her parent’s flower shop. This passion continued as Owner and Consultant of Scarlet Heart Catering, Weddings & Events.

Over the years, Patti has coordinated hundreds of weddings and special events in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.

Also a writer, Patti’s wedding related articles have been featured in local and national publications, as have some of her client’s weddings.

Her years of experience as an event professional, along with her passion for serving people and planning joyful events are the cornerstone of Rosemarie Weddings & Events.

The inspiration behind the company name and brand purpose belongs to Patti’s late sister, Rosemarie.
